Fifteen students of higher institutions in Benue State have denounced their membership of cult groups.
They were received by the Commissioner of Police Bashir Makama, with heads of higher institutions, at the Police Officers Mess in Makurdi.
Makama advised the students not to go back to their old ways. He assured them of security on and off the campus, and asked them to report any threat to their lives.
Provost of the College of Education Dr. Mathias Nde and his College of Advance and Professional Studies counterpart Dr. Tyotom Keghku hailed the Campus Cult Eradication Foundation for the initiative.
