Niger Delta Women for Tinubu/ Shettima, is an all women political support group with branches spread across the nine states of the South south.

According to Umana, the group is actively involved in mobilizing women at grassroots including farmsteads, markets and families.

“We are organizing them into structured support groups right from the polling units and wards up to states level. We goal is to ensure that every eligible woman is encouraged to vote for the APC presidential team.

“Considering the noticeable change brought to the region by the ruling APC, which has enhanced peace, economic growth and tangible development, I urge women of Niger Delta to support the sustenance of this change by voting for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu/ Shettima in the next year presidential election.

While applauding President Muhammadu Buhari for his visionary reforms and unparalleled political will to develop the Niger Delta region, using the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and Niger Delta Development Commission, she expressed optimism that the incoming APC administration will do more.

She described Tinubu as experienced politician, who has an unbeatable track record in creating lasting institutions that provide sustainable development and possess the capacity to transform Nigeria.

“He performed very well as the governor of Lagos, and as a leader of our party, has contributed immensely to achievements of the ruling party”.
