Nasarawa State governor, Engr Abdullahi Sule, yesterday inaugurated his campaign council preparatory to kick-starting his campaign for his re-election in 2023.
Governor Sule said his administration has done a lot in all sectors of the economy and promised to sustain the tempo of development if re-elected for a second term.
The campaign team is headed by a former Commissioner for Justice in the state, Barr Tanimu Adamsin.
The national chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, appealed to the people of the state to re-elect Governor Sule for a second term to complete the good work he has started.
The Chief of Staff to the president, Ibrahim Gambari, who was in the state on a working visit, urged the people to support the re-election bid of the governor to sustain the development he is bringing into the state.
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, said the people of the state will re-elect Gov. Abdullahi Sule in 2023, considering the governor’s developmental strides in almost all sectors of the economy.
He also promised President Muhammadu Buhari and APC that the people of the State will give them 85 per cent votes in the 2023 general election.
“ Let me give a message to our President Muhammadu Buhari through the Chief of Staff to the president, that the people of Nasarawa State are promising him 85 per cent of their votes in 2023” he said.
The Speaker said that Gov. Sule has no opposition, saying that the people of the State will return the Governor come 2023.
According to him, As far as we are concerned, we have no opposition in Nasarawa State. We just allow them to talk but the majority will have their way.”
