2023: Why I want to contest for Senate —Lebi

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Barr. Morayo Lebi, has said that his intention for contesting for the Senate was to ensure the construction of the coastal road from Lekki in Lagos State through Ondo to Edo State.

Lebi said the construction of the road would boost businesses in Ondo South senatorial district especially the riverine communities.

He spoke yesterday at Irele, headquarters of Irele local government while addressing APC members in the locality.

Lebi promised to attract quality projects as well as provide jobs for the youths.

According to him, “I am not new to you. I want to contest for the Senate under our party platform. I have seven point agenda which aimed to provide good and effective representation of our party. Because of my background and exposure. I will promote and make good legislation for the benefit of our people.

The coastal line road linking Lekki through Igbokoda to Edo State will open up Ondo South. Such infrastructure leads to development. I will attract federal government projects and institutions to our local district.

“Legislation is not about talking in the chambers. You ought to have the contacts. I will attract quality projects. I will make all of you happy. You will be proud of me.”
