Amid tears, the 22 persons killed last month in Benue State have been laid to rest.
The deceased were murdered by gunmen who attacked Akpuuna village in Mbaterem, Ukum Local Government Area of the state on July 8.

Several others sustained various injuries which saw the criminals setting houses ablaze.
The 22 victims were buried on Monday at a piece of land in Akpuuna, where the killings took place.
