Austin Ejide will have a chance of being the first choice in goal permanently as he leads out the Super Eagles team at 2am, Nigeria time on Saturday against El Tri of Mexico in the much talked about friendly between the two continental champions.
Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi has also opted to cap Werder Bremen forward, Joseph Akpala to pair Brown Ideye in Eagles attack against El Tri in the grade A friendly match slated for Houston, Texas ,USA
In a release from the Eagles camp, Keshi opted for Akpala who is expected to operate from the right wing while Nnamdi Oduamadi will operate from the left wing and Ideye. Is expected to be the lone striker upfront in a 4-3-3 formation.
SS Lazio midfielder has been deployed to file in for absent Mikel Obi in the holding midfield role while Sunday Mba and John Ogu support the attackers from the midfield.
