A Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area (LGA) of Enugu State has offered N5million reward to anyone with information on the killers of its Secretary, Dr. Nnamdi Ogueche.
Ogueche was killed by yet-to-be identified assailants along Olo/Umulokpa Road while on his way to the state capital, Enugu, after attending a meeting in his home town, Adaba, last month.
The council Chairman, Fidelis Ani, made the offer.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to fish out those responsible for the murder.
Ani thanked Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for donating N10million to the deceased’s wife and children.
He said the council was working with security agencies to ensure that the culprits were arrested and prosecuted.
