Many thanks to you for writing about the need for sexual purity in the male folk as well. I remember requesting for this sometime ago. It is true sexually-pure boys do better in life. I’m a living testimony. Although it wasn’t easy growing up among boys who believed that it is not possible but I thank God for it today. Please continue to publish your thoughts on sexual-purity. You are a precious gift for everyone. Thank God for you. Things have been hard for me and my family so I took a bold step of working as a domestic help because I want to have enough funds to continue my studies. Unfortunately, the head of the home where I’m working who is 75 years old asks me to romance him anytime his wife is not around that he will solve my problems. I don’t want to get involved in such an act because I’m trusting God for a way out of my family’s hardship and other challenges. My question is- could it be the way out? Should I succumb to his pressure? Please what should I do?

Believe me, I’m so impressed with this young lady who in spite her hardship is yet to be tempted into committing sexual sin with her boss. With the depravity in the world today, I tell you most girls would readily jump at the offer, take the old man to the heights of ecstasy, “turn his head and use his head” like no man’s business but I tell you that’s the beginning of prostitution and trouble! If this young lady didn’t fear God, she would have gotten into an affair with this old man starting from romancing him then eventually going all the way with him. She would be taking the risk of her life because while at it the old man could have a heart-attack as a result of too much ecstasy his health probably can’t cope with! Can you imagine what would happen if he died right on top of her?
Look, the stupid, bad, devil is so smart and knows how to cut great destinies short with seeming goodies that won’t last for long. It (the devil) knows how to ensure you get yourself into a situation where you lose the wondrous things God has assigned your destiny! Can you imagine what would have happened to biblical Joseph if he slept with Mrs. Portiphar so he could get some comfort? Most likely, the affair would have been discovered by his master and he would have died in jail! Thankfully, his fear of God/ spirit of God in him made him rebuff her advances and part of his submission was “…How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”Genesis 39:9 The fact that he chose God over his discomfort was enough for God to give him the entire world if He wished to. And in any case, he became a Prime Minister of Egypt- a country where he was slave at the tender age of 30! WHAT A GOOD, GOOD GOD!
I know a good number of successful and prominent Nigerians who were domestic helps in their younger years but today they not only have too much money they can’t exhaust for a lifetime, their names open doors for people around them!
My darling, please wait on the Lord and be of good courage! I tell you, you’ve scored so high in heaven by not falling into the randy arms of your boss! Please expect a surprise package from God before the end of this year! Someone is coming to sponsor your education to PhD level if you so wish without asking for a pound of flesh! Congratulations my dear! God loves you, so do I!
