The Senior Pastor of Apostle Royal Triumphant Church International Apostle Helen Dania has thrown her weight behind calls for a National Day of Praise and Worship in Nigeria.

Dania said this at the 4th edition of church’s high praise extravaganza at its headquarters in Ojo, Lagos.

The event featured praise, drama and comedy

She said the socio-economic cum security challenges in Nigeria can be so overwhelming and may have defiled series of fasting and prayer.

But if Nigerians praise God, she assured things would turn around and all the nation’s tormentors will be dusted.

Although, she commended the effort of the government in tackling insecurity in parts of the country, she stated the unending cases of banditry, kidnapping and terrorism are as heartrending as disturbing.

She noted that declaring a day of national praise and worship to God can put the enemies of Nigeria at bay because “God is always happy when His children praise Him and remind Him of how powerful, mighty, great and wondrous are His works.”

According to her: “Each time we praise God a lot of miracles happen. Praising God is a profitable venture. We have been seeing the benefits of praising God in our lives as a church”.

She stressed that setting aside a day of National Praise and Worship to thank God would have immense effect on getting God’s attention for the much needed peace, growth and development in our country.

She posited that all the hideouts of terrorists across the nation where people promoting unrest will fall at the instance of praise.

“Praise is the gateway to God’s heart and God is waiting for Nigerians to praise Him against all odds.

“He will stand up in His mighty power and fight for the country and enthrone peace and progress across the land,” Dania stated.
