The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, Adnan Bostaji, yesterday described the election of Prof. Tijani Mohammed-Bande as the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations as a plus for Nigerian diplomacy.
Bostaji, in a statement in Abuja, said it was a well-deserved victory for the government of President Muhamnadu Buhari.
The statement said: “I extend my congratulations to the Nigerian government and its people on the occasion of the election of Prof. Tijani Mohammed Bande as the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

” This was a well-deserved victory for the government of His Excellency, President Muhamnadu Buhari and Nigerian diplomacy.
“It is an appreciation of Nigeria’s prestige among the countries of the world and its great role and influential actions in regional and international issues.
