The Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ) has asked Ifeyinwa Omowole, Deji Elumoye and the developer Primewater View Company to refund the money paid by subscribers of the Penjewel Estate project, Abaren.
NUJ President Chris Isiguzo stated this on Monday evening after hours of deliberation on the issue at Radio Lagos.
Faulting Omowole, chairperson of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and Elumoye then Chairman of Lagos Council for entering an agreement designed to fail ab ignitio, Isiguzo said the parties took subscribers for granted.

The President also assured that all the journalists fingered in the issue would be punished in line with the recommendations of committees set up to probe the matter.
