TECHMONEY Africa summit, which beganon Monday at the University of Lagos (UINLAG), ends today.
The event is aimed at boosting tech entrepreneurship, the organisers Unicorn have.
At the weeekend, the firm’s Chief Programme and Business Development Officer, Tori Abiola, explained that entrepreneurs, start-ups and early firms face the challenges of infrastructure and mentoring, among others, adding that at the conference sessions at the summit, these problems would be tacked by experts.
She said Unicorn’s strategy is to boost innovation and empower entrepreneurs to identify and build sustainable firms that will grow the economy.
She said over 150 investors were being expected from China and other countries at the two-day forum and that, expectedly, they would provide capital needed to spur the country’s economy.
At the end, she said, Nigerians would benefit from their activities.
