THE Commissioner for Mineral Resources in Bayelsa State, Markson Fefegha, has resigned.
In his letter of resignation, Fefegha thanked Governor Seriake Dickson for assigning him positions in his administration, saying it was incredible to have traversed almost all the gamut of the state executive council.
Also, the Special Adviser to Dickson on Conflict Resolution in Oil and Gas Producing Communities, Chief Tiwe Oruminighe, has resigned.
Oruminighe, who was the pioneer state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), left for the PDP following irreconcilable differences with the state leader of the party, Chief Timipre Sylva.
Oruminighe, who had concluded plans to return to his former party, told Dickson in his resignation letter that he left because of the conflict of interest “arising from intricacies characterising the 2019 election in the state.”
