All eyes will be on Nigerian forward, Emmanuel Dennis as he hopes to continue his rich scoring form when Club Brugge host French champions Paris Saint Germain in UEFA Champions League.
The Nigeria international was named in the UEFA Champions League team of the week following his epic performance against Real Madrid on October 1.
Club Brugge are on a six-match unbeaten run in the UEFA Champions’ League group stage and kicked off this season’s group stage with a 0-0 draw at home to Galatasaray, their third successive goalless draw in the UEFA Champions League proper.
They ended that sequence on Matchday 2 with a 2-2 draw at Real Madrid, Emmanuel Bonaventure’s first-half double having seemingly put them on course for a memorable victory only for the home side to hit back.
A win for the Belgian club against a PSG side that would be aiming for the maximum point could brighten their chances of qualifying from the group.
PSG already sit four points clear at the top of Group A courtesy of victories over Real Madrid and Galatasaray so far, and they could extend that lead to as much as seven points if they make it three wins from three.
Dennis who made his debut for Nigeria when he came in for Samuel Chukwueze in the Super Eagles 2-2 draw with Ukraine last month, was on the field for 77 minutes in the Blauw-Zwart narrow 1-0 win at Royal Excel Mouscron last Friday.

In a related development, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes the English champions are still not strong enough at either end of the field to count themselves as realistic contenders to win the Champions League for the first time.
City are the bookmakers’ favourites to finally win the biggest prize in European football after more than a decade of huge investment from the club’s Abu Dhabi owners and in Guardiola’s fourth season in charge.
“We miss a lot of chances in the final third and we have to do that, to be clinical. When the people say about the Champions League being the target, we are still not ready,” said Guardiola, whose side have won their opening two Champions League games and host Atalanta at the Etihad today.
“In this competition you have to be strong in the boxes and this season we are not incredibly strong in the boxes. Of course we have time.
