THE Christian Legislators’ Forum (CLF) of the National Assembly on Friday said that President Muhammadu Buhari and the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, would be the Special Guest of Honour and Chief Host respectively, at its National Prayer Breakfast slated for next Thursday in Abuja.

The President of  CLF, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, who disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja, urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the country for peaceful coexistence and security of lives and property.

Bwacha said that the theme of the 10th Anniversary event will be the: “Fullness of Time” from the book of Daniel.

Bwacha said: “Prayer changes things. Nigeria is making progress, although it is not where it ought to be now. Ernest prayers will change our situation for the better.

“Even our armed forces admit that Nigeria needs prayers to overcome insurgency and numerous security challenges.

“With prayers, as in the days of old, the Lord will go with our armies and victory is sure.

“The word holds that ‘if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray…I will hear from heaven and heal their land.’

“The Lord is still in the business of hearing prayers, will hear ours, and in this fullness of time, will heal our land.”

He said that all Nigerians, including Senators, members of the House of Representatives, staffers, members serving and emeritus of state assemblies, the Christian community and all men of faith, the diplomatic community are all expected at the programme.
