‘Glo programme’ tells Elumelu’s story

Lovers of Cable News Network (CNN) African Voices, sponsored by Globacom, will this weekend relish the success story of Anthony Onyeamaechi Elumelu.

The foremost economist and philanthropist of note shares his story on the global network’s programme.

The frontline banker delves into his inspiring story of sheer grit and excellence, which transformed him from a mere salesman to a serial entrepreneur and a mentor budding businessmen across Africa.

African Voices will be broadcast on DSTV on Friday at 8.30 a.m. and on Saturday at 11.30 p.m., 4.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.

Other repeat broadcasts come up on Sunday at 4 a.m., 8.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m., with more repeats on Monday and Tuesday at 4.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.

The 56-year-old grew up in Jos, Plateau State, though he is from Onicha Ukwu in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

His resourcefulness and creativity got him his first job as a salesman at the defunct All States Trust Bank.
