Columnist and Chairman of The Nation editorial board, Sam Omatseye, will today review the biography of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) and former Chairman of Nigerian Police Commission (NPC), Mike Okiro, who is also marking his 70th birthday.
The book is titled: Striking Footprints, authored by Dozie Okebalama. It will take at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja at 10 am.
Vice-President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is the special guest of honour, while former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, is the chairman.
Also expected are the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
Service chiefs and top brass of Nigerian Armed Forces as well as political and business elite are billed to attend. Frontline businessman, Chief Emeka Offor, will present the book and will be supported by another business magnate, Chief Ifeanyi Uba.
