Motor boy jailed for hawking hemp

A MOTOR boy, Manga Afebende, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Lagos for hawking Indian hemp.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo passed the sentence on Afebende after he pleaded guilty to a lone count of hawking Indian hemp

The convict, who works as a motor boy of a water tanker, was arrested on May 19 with 430 grams of the banned ‘weeds’ by the operatives of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
