The Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said on Wednesday that three persons died, while four sustained injuries in an accident that happened around Kara market on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Sector Commander Mr. Clement Oladele told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ota, Ogun State that the accident occurred about 11pm on Tuesday.
He said that a Mazda bus registered as JJJ-417-XX lost control due to speeding and somersaulted into the bush.
Oladele said that 14 people, comprising eight men, four women and two girls were in the bus.

He said two women and a girl died, adding that four others sustained injuries.
The sector commander said that the bodies had been deposited at the State Hospital, Sagamu and FOS morgue in Ipara, Ogun State, while the injured were receiving treatment in private hospitals close to the scene of the accident.
He advised motorists to drive cautiously.
Oladele also enjoined them to drive cautiously around the sections being rehabilitated on the expressway.
