The local government chairman recalled that Festac Town was created by the Federal Government to showcase Nigeria’s and Africa’s cultural heritage.
“By identifying with the THEMES Agenda of Mr. Governor, we intend to resuscitate the moribund potentials our local government possess, using the musical fiesta as the platform to open up the economic opportunities of the entertainment and tourism industry,” he said. The fiesta starts today at the FHA field, 23/24 Road, Festac Town. Artistes expected to perform at the event include Tu Baba, W4, Solid Star and Sound Sultan.
