An Akure High Court in Ondo state presided over by Justice Olabode Adegbehingbe has granted bail to Dr. Lanre Olu-Adeyemi and a cleric, John Abiodun arraigned before the court.
Olu-Adeyemi,a lecturer at Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko(AAUA), was faced with a two-count charge while the pastor was arraigned on seven-count ranging from conspiracy, publication of false news, perjury, impersonation and threatening violence amongst other.
Justice Adegbehingbe held that the defendants should provide sureties who have evidence of employment and payment of tax or they should be remanded at Olokuta Correctional centre in Akure.
The accused persons were alleged of publishing fake and false publication against Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi of Promiseland Prophetic Ministries,Akure.

The presiding Judge granted each of the accused persons with bail term conditions in like some with sum of N500,000 with their sureties who must have a landed properties in Akure, the state capital.
Justice Adegbehingbe had earlier frowned at any attempt to intimidate the court by any of the counsels with what he described as inappropriate applications or motions,noting that he stands for a fair trial in all matters before his jurisdiction.
While the prosecuting counsel, Barrister kunle Ayegbusi and the defence counsels, Barristers Adelanke Akinrata and Femi Emodamori agreed that the case be adjourned till February 26, March 4, 9,12 and 17 for hearing.
Counsels to the Promiseland Prophetic Ministries, led by Barrister Tunji Osho was at the court for the matter.
