Osun State Police have arrested an 18-year-old boy identified as Adeleke Samson for allegedly stealing N91, 300 belonging to his boss, Bola Oni.
The police who brought Adeleke before Osun State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Osogbo on Wednesday said he committed the offence at about 8am on the 30th of December 2019.
The prosecutor, Inspector Adeoye Kayode told the court that, the boy stole the sum of Ninety-one thousand three hundred Naira (N91, 300) property of one Bola Oni.
He also informed the court that the Adeleke is a sales boy to the complainant.

Bola Oni sent him to deposit the money into an account of a customer.
Adeleke absconded with the money and used the money to buy a phone and clothes.
He noted that the offence committed by Adeleke is contrary to and punishable under section 390 (9) of Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.
Adeleke pleaded not guilty to a count charge preferred against him.
The defence counsel, Mr Najite Okobe made an oral bail application and promised that his client won’t jump bail if granted.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Adebola Ajanaku in her ruling admitted the accused person to bail with the sum of N50, 000 and two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case to 26th February 2020 for hearing.
