Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has warned Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and civil servants to shun corrupt practices.
Masari, at the swearing in of five permanent secretaries, urged the new officials to abide by the oath of allegiance taken to deliver their statutory duties.
He stressed that public office is about rendering selfless services to the people, bearing in mind the fear of God which helps to overcome of corruption.

Members of the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) have been urged to take the anti- corruption fight to the rural areas, particularly to their Place of Primary Assignments (PPA).
State Coordinator Alhaji Nakamba, who addressed the corps members, urged them to be viable tools of correcting social ills. He reminded them of the need to remain good ambassadors by rejecting negative tendencies that could put the NYSC in bad light.
