Ashrami unveils range of lubricants

Asharami Synergy, a subsidiary of Sahara Group, has introduced its new classes of engine oil into the lubricants market put at over 700 million litres per annum and worth $500 million.

Its Managing Director, Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, told reporters yesterday in Lagos at the launch of the company’s new lubricants – Asha Crest and Asha Xtra, that the engine oil was specifically designed to offer the highest standard of quality, safety, durability, affordability and exceptional performance.

“We are introducing the gold standard of quality among lubricants and we are delighted that Nigerians can now turn to the Asha engine oil as their preferred engine oil across the nation. In a market contending with quackery, consumers can now move with Asha to safeguard and optimise the performance of their engines. The Asha engine oil range can be applied to all manner of engines in generators, light and heavy duty machines, cars, trucks and motorcycles,” she said.

The Marketing and Sales Manager, Asharami Synergy, Seun Yussuf, said the company decided to enter the ever growing market with the aim to provide Nigerians with top quality but pocket friendly lubricants.

He said: “Over 700 million litres of lubricants are consumed yearly in Nigeria and the market is worth over $500million with registered 40 lube blending plants.

“At Asharami Synergy, we don’t compromise standard and we are ready to compete favourably in the lubricants market. In fact, we are targeting between two to five per cent market share within one year of our entry and we plan to grow astronomically in a few years.”

He stated that Asha engine oil has come to give all customers peace of mind whenever they are looking to buy lubricants for their engines. Asharami Synergy businesses include fuel procurement and distribution solutions through utilisation of innovative technology and improved efficiency across the downstream supply chain.
