Ede community lauds Oyetola on Oke-Gada road

RESIDENTS of Oke Gada Community have lauded Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on the rehabilitation of Oke-Gada – Barracks Junction – Awo Junction road in Ede.

The road is one main arteries of the ancient city.

There are 12 communities that make up the Oke –Gada Communities Development Association (CDAs), which in a letter to the governor, commended the efforts of the government on the road.

In the letter signed by all the chairmen of the communities, they said: “it gives us tremendous joy to see that the contractor has been mobilized to site and rehabilitation work has commenced without delay. Our governor has further proved that when the right people rule, people rejoice.”

The Phase ! CDA chair, Mr. Raji Bashiru- Ibiyele, said: “We have been expecting the rehabilitation of this road for long. We are grateful that we won’t need to kill fish on the road whenever it rains like before, as a result of this rehabilitation work. In future elections, we will turn out for the All Progressives Congress (APC) with our huge votes.” Chairman of Ayeloja Community Mr Lawal Rufai added: “We are grateful to the Oyetola Administration and we are praying for the governor and his Administration”
