Big derbies hit feverish pitch on GOtv

Football fans will be treated to a bumper package this weekend as big derby games from the Serie A and La Liga, as well as games from the Premier League will be aired on GOtv this weekend.

The games, scheduled to hold this weekend will be broadcast live on SuperSport Select 2 to GOtv Jolli and GOtv Max subscribers, and on SuperSport Select 4 and SuperSport Select 5 exclusive to GOtv Max subscribers.

Bournemouth will continue their fight to escape relegation from the Premier League when they host Chelsea at Dean Court on today. The game kicks off at 4pm and will be aired live on SuperSport Select 2.Four seasons after it gained promotion from the Championship , Bournemouth’s status in the Premier League is now being threatened as The Cherries are currently placed in 16th position, just two points above the drop zone.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are hoping to secure a top-four position and strengthened their cause after securing an important win against Tottenham Hotspur.

Manager Frank Lampard will hope that his charges – including the rejuvenated Oliver Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount – will be able to rise up to the occasion and stir the team to victory after they slumped to a 3-0 defeat during the week  to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

Elsewhere, a fascinating game lies in prospect in the Serie A on Sunday when the defending champions, Juventus host Inter Milan in the Derby d’Italia at the Juventus Stadium behind closed doors no thanks to the Coronavirus epidemic.

The game will be aired live on SuperSport Select 2 and 5 at 8:45pm.

Also tomorrow, a fierce football rivalry will be rekindled in La Liga when Real Madrid host defending champions, Barcelona at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in the El Clasico. The game which kicks off at 9pm and will be broadcast live on SuperSport Select 4.
