Upcoming actress, Opeifa Adenike has revealed to The Nation that she cannot act in a porn movie for an opportunity to become famous.
“I would also say growing as an actor you have to face the test of time. If a script doesn’t align with your principle, it’s best you decline and that’s what I do. I would never. Trust me, I don’t believe in doing something so very wrong to get something so very nice. The fact that I am an upcoming actor doesn’t mean I have to taste from every cup of opportunity. No! No! Never!” she says.
Opeifa also disclosed that she feels that every good actor should be able to express herself or himself on stage and screen. However, she says the stage play is more tasking than filming a movie.

“I feel stage play is more tasking than filming because you have to act really well with your body, voice and heart without mistakes unlike filming that they can be re- takes. However, the fact remains that our job can be very tasking no matter the setting. The difference there is the fact that actors obviously need thorough rehearsals before a stage play and we meet to be meticulous while on stage cause stage play does not entertain mistakes. Even if there is a saying that there is creativity in every mistake. Well that might not always go form well you know. So it’s best to put in your all.”
Adenike who has been acting for about nine years and grew up watching Funke Akindele-Bello says she strives hard to become the brand she is today. She shares her experience working with the actress, director and producer.
“I have had the opportunity to work with funke akindele. And it was an awesome experience because I grew up watching her on screen and she has been an inspiration. So working with her just make me understand that I have moved and there is more to accomplish,” she tells The Nation.
