THE Dapo Abiodun administration will ensure that development gets to every part of Ogun State, the Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has said.
She said there will be even distribution of dividends of democracy across the three senatorial districts.
Mrs Salako-Oyedele spoke during a reception for public office holders from Ogun West. It was organised by the Ogun West Stakeholders Forum (OWESF) in Abeokuta, the state capital.
She said the governor would keep his promise of an all-inclusive government.
According to her, one of the major socio-economic enablers is good roads.
“During the campaign, we found out that the issue of roads was number one on people’s agenda,” she said.
Mrs Salako-Oyedele said the focus would be on road construction and rehabilitation and to open up more communities.
Her words: “We will be going to the next phase of the road projects and ensure that the major roads that link the state with economic activities, schools, and health centres are given priority because of their impact on the lives of our people.’’
She assured the citizens of the state, particularly the people of Ogun West, of more amenities.

OWESF Chairman, Dr Yemisi Bamgbose, praised Governor Abiodun for making major appointments from the zone, such as the Deputy Governor and Head of Service.
He urged the indigenes of the senatorial district to attract more infrastructure to Ogun West.
Chairman of the occasion, Senator Felix Kola Bajomo and Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, represented by the Olorun of Ado-Odo, Oba Abdullateef Akanni, called for unity and love in Ogun West.
They said the district should not play second fiddle in the scheme of things in the state.
