Two remanded for ‘robbery’ in Kaduna

A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday ordered the remand of two labourers, Isah Yusuf and Mohammed Mansir in correctional centre in Kaduna  over alleged armed robbery.

The Magistrate, Umar Ibrahim, ordered the police to duplicate the case file to the state Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), for legal advice.

Ibrahim adjourned the case until March 30.

Prosecutor, Inspector Chidi Leo  told the court that Yusuf and Mansir, armed with a cutlass and a locally-made pistol, robbed one Istifanus Gabriel of his Pathfinder Sport Utility Vehicle and other valuables worth N4 million.
