Members of Eko Club of Nigeria have hailed the President, Dr. Ade Dosunmu, for his efforts to take the club to the next level.
The members spoke during the club’s Year 2020 Annual General Meeting held on the club’s premises in Surulere, Lagos.
They were happy with the tempo of social activities during the period under review, saying it has been very encouraging.
“The conducive atmosphere to relax and socialise is another factor that made our president unique. The completion of Oba of Lagos Sports Hall, which had been abandoned for about six years, is another laudable achievement of the incumbent president.
“A legacy that will outlive the administration of Dr. Dosunmu is his intention to build a befitting pool and garden for the use of members and their families and also outsiders for a fee,” they said.
Dosunmu thanked them for their support, saying without them, nothing could have been achieved. He promised that the club will focus on three projects in the next 12 months – swimming pool, spa and wellness centre, as well as the completion of interlocking paving stones started 10 years ago.
The president appealed to members to be faithful in paying their subscriptions to enable the club raise funds to discharge its obligations to members.
