AN Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered that 33-year-old Dare Oyekola be remanded for allegedly raping his neighbour’s physically-challenged daughter.
Chief Magistrate A. A. Fashola did not take Oyekola’s plea, ordering instead that the police return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for advice.
Fashola adjourned the case until April 29.
Police prosecutor Sgt. Michael Unah earlier told the court that Oyekola lured the 20-year-old victim into a prayer room and raped her, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
