Free medical outreach in Oyo

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde will today inaugurate a free medical mission in Oyo North.

The outreach will include surgeries, blood pressure, HIV, Hermia, Lipoma, Sebaceous cyst and breast lumps checks. Beneficiaries will also be educated on food hygiene, waste management and good sanitation.

Commissioner for Health Dr. Bashir Bello, in a statement on Sunday, said the outreach was introduced by the government to improve the quality of healthcare.

The statement reads: “The medical outreach was introduced to improve the quality of healthcare services and reduce medical quackery.”
