Barely a week after Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Nasarawa United lost defender, Chineme Martins to death when he collapsed and died before getting to the hospital, Abdulsalam Abdulsalam of Kwara United had another gruelling experience Sunday in Ilorin.

Barely two minutes into Kwara United tie with Wikki Tourists at the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin, Abdulsalam had a leg break and had to be stabilised before being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
It is the second significant unfortunate event that has bedevilled the topflight in the last one week.
