The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), is currently meeting with members of the Economic Sustainability Committee (ESC), which was put together on Monday by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande, disclosed this on his Tweeter handle, @akandeoj.
The Committee was set up to take care of the economic challenges and fallouts of the pandemic and the attendant movement restrictions in the FCT, Lagos and Ogun States.

The Vice President had said the new Committee will also develop further palliatives, and a sustainability plan to reposition the economy and grow the non-oil sector.
“The Economic Sustainability Committee set up on Monday by the President is currently holding its first meeting, chaired by VP Osinbajo. Top on the agenda: how Nigeria & Nigerians will get the economic sustainability for a time like this and beyond. All members seated & work is on”, the tweet said.
