Briefing newsmen on police findings at the shrine, Nagoggo claimed that lizards, ants and all sorts of living things die whenever the suspected fetish priests enter the shrine.
The police chief also claimed the shrine is inaccessible to non-members.
Items recovered during the raid included a calabash filled with suspected human blood, another calabash designed like a helmet with Arabic inscriptions on it.
Charcoal, perfume, a polythene bag containing clothes of many colours and a drawing of a human skeleton, among other items, were also found, Nsagoggo said.
