Nigerian music producer ID Cabasa has asked fans to desist from comparing him to Mavins records boss, Don Jazzy.
The producer, during a live recording on Instagram, said he has done well for himself on the music scene the same way Don Jazzy has done incredibly well, hence, no need for any form of comparison.
The Coded Tunes boss said fans are to celebrate their achievements in the last two decades rather than comparing their works and achievements.
“Don Jazzy is one of the greatest producers that has come out of Naija. He has done well for himself and I’ve done well for myself as well. We just need people to address that and respect that fact,” he said.

Cabasa also spoke on why he’s yet to produce any track for reigning YBNL artiste Fireboy Dml.
He said; “I was recording him (Fireboy) before I traveled to the United States but I couldn’t keep up while I was away. The guy (Pheelz) that produced most of his works is someone that came through me. But I have some work with him on my upcoming album.”
Speaking further, the versatile producer and singer also advised fans to stop comparing Fireboy and Empawa signee, Joeboy.
“Don’t compare Joeboy and Fireboy, Joeboy grew up around me so he is like a younger brother to me and Fireboy is also family. What you should look out for is a major collabo among them,” Cabasa said.
