The total lockdown declared by Kwara Government, on Saturday witnessed partial compliance in suburbs of Ilorin and some areas in Ilorin town, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The NAN correspondent, who monitored the compliance level in Ganmo, Amayo, Ogbodoroko, Oke Ose, Shao, Oke Oyi reports that many residents of the areas were busy conducting their daily activities.
NAN also reports that construction workers were seen at Alagbado on Sobi Specialist Hospital Road working.
NAN also reports that while some artisans were busy bending iron rod for the concrete work, others were digging the ground, while some were busy mixing concrete.
Many residents of Alagbado and Okelele were seen outside their houses in groups of five or seven without maintaining social distance.
At Ganmo and Amayo, some shops were opened , while itinerant traders were seen hawking their wares unhindered.
Though there were barricades at both ends of the towns mounted by security men but commercial motorcycles were carrying passengers within the town.
NAN reports that the situation was similar in Oke Ose and Oke Oyi, where many residents displayed their wares in their shops and motorcycles were seen moving about unmolested.

At Shao in Moro Local Government, it was business as usual as relaxation joints were opened for business while petty traders displayed their wares.
There was no vehicular movement into to the town as soldiers mounted barricade at Sobi Cantonment, though commercial motorcycles were seen carrying passengers within the town.
NAN reports that compliance was total at the popular Oja Oba market in Ilorin, Gambari and Emir Road, as all shops were locked, with security men stationed in strategic locations.
NAN reports that Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, on Thursday announced a total lockdown of the state following the confirmation of two positive cases of the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
The government had earlier restricted the lockdown to Offa Local Government, following the death of a man suspected to have the virus, while his wife tested positive for Covid-19.
NAN reports that the lockdown was to enable the Technical Committee on COVID-19 trace all the persons who had contact with the two positive cases.
