The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has produced a video clip titled “Together we will kick out coronavirus” to create awareness and build hope among Nigerians.
The video was part of the NWC’s efforts at assuring Nigerians the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic is surmountable but requires resilience, total compliance to government directives and measures.
Members of the committee led by the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, took turn in sequence to educate members of the public on the steps taken so far in tackling the deadly virus.
The sensitisation video also specifically stressed the needs for Nigerians to observe the social distancing policy, comply with the stay at home directive in order to stay safe, ensure regular usage of hand sanitizer and regular practice of hand washing.
The 1:49- second video has the Deputy National Chairman South West, Senator Abiola Ajumobi; Acting National Secretary, Hon. Victor Giadom; National Vice Chairman – South West, Pastor Bankole Oluwalana; National Legal Adviser Babatunde Ogala; National Treasurer Adamu Fanda; National Financial Secretary Tajudeen Ola Bello and Paul Chukuwuma, National Auditor.
Others on the enlightenment video are Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir National Vice Chairman – North West; Emmanuel Eneukwu, National Vice Chairman – South East; Emmanuel Ibediro, National Organising Secretary; Sulaimon Wambai, National Vice Chairman – North Central; Ibrahim Masari – National Welfare Secretary and Hillard Etta – National Vice Chairman – South South
The video also featured Mustapha Salihu, National Vice Chairman – North East; Salamatu Baiwa, National Women Leader; Sadiq S. Abubakar – National Youth Leader and Lanre Issa-Onilu – National Publicity Secretary.
