Flour mills, Gasland donate over N25m to Oyo

THE Nigerian Eagle Flour Mills, Premium Edible Oil Mills and Premier Feed mills Limited, all subsidiaries of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Ibadan on Wednesday donated N18million worth of relief materials to the Oyo State Government.

This is as a leading gas company, Gasland Nigeria Limited also donated items worth about N7.8million worth of food items to the government.

While the items donated by FMN include 4000 cartons of Golden Penny noodles and 3000 bags of Golden vita (wheat), the food items donated by Gasland include 100bags of rice, 200 bags of garri and 150 cartons of noodles.

Both donors said the donations form part of the Corporate Social Responsibilities and decided on the move as a way of supporting the government to help the people cushion the effect of the lockdown in the state.

HR Business Partner, Nigeria Eagle Flour Mills, Mr Mukaila Kafaru and Mrs Yemi Olubode of Gasline led other top management staffs of their organisations to deliver the items to the government on behalf of the different companies.
