Renowned Islamic preacher Malam Sani Sale has been abducted by gunmen in Jigawa State, police said.
The cleric was whisked away in his Ringim country home, it was learnt.

Police spokesman Abdu Jinjiri said the five-man gang came on motorcycles, adding that police got the incident scene after the kidnappers had fled with their victim. Two persons have been arrested in connection with the kidnap, Jinjiri said.
