Kyari’s death, a great blow – Kwara APC

All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state has described the death of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari, as a great blow to Mr. President and his administration.

In a condolence message APC Chairman in the state, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa acknowledged Abba Kyari as a long time loyal friend and associate of President Buhari.

The statement reads: “At the inception of his administration in 2015, President Buhari’s made Abba Kyari his chief of Staff based on their time tested friendship and understanding. Since then, the president has benefitted from Kyari’s rich vein of experience and loyalty.

He has been a pivotal and critical force in the running of the presidency.While Abba Kyari may not have been a particularly flamboyant and popular figure with his friends and foes alike, but he was no doubt a dutiful, hardworking and unrepentantly loyal aide to Mr. President.

“He was in a manner of speaking, a stabilizing force for the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari

“The death of the Chief of Staff is a huge loss. We mourn Mallam Abba. He will be sorely missed. On behalf of the government and people of Kwara State, we commiserate with Mr President, the Federal Executive Council, and the immediate and extended family of Mallam Abba. We pray Almighty Allah to grant him Al-jannah firdaus,” AbdulRazaq said in a statement by his media spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye.

“We salute his contributions to the country, his avowed loyalty to the nation and the President, as well as his commitment to duty as a prominent member of Mr. President’s administration.

“On behalf of our party and its membership in Kwara state, l pray  Aljanah firdaus for the late chief of staff and for Almighty Allah to grant Mr. President, all cabinet members, family, friends and associates of Mallam Abba Kyari the fortitude to bear the loss.”
