FIVE persons suspected to have killed Naval Sub Lt. David Igbashi have been arrested in Calabar, Cross River State.
They were arrested by personnel of the Zone 6 police headquarters in Calabar.
Igbashal was abducted on February 22 on his way from Calabar to Makurdi in Benue State for his wedding arrangements.
The arrest was contained in a release signed by spokesman of the zone DSP Nelson Okpabi on Sunday.
He stated that the arrest was made on April 18 and was led by Supt. Emmanuel Ukwenya of the Zonal Anti-Corruption/X-Squad set up by Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr Zaki Ahmed.
