BREAKING: Sokoto records first index case of COVID-19

Sokoto State has recorded its first index case of the novel coronavirus.

Governor Aminu Tambuwal announced the confirmation of the COVID-19 first index case on Monday.

The governor also revealed that the patient is receiving treatment at the Usmanu Danfodio teaching Hospital in Sokoto.
