Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has sent his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and the good people of Akwa Ibom State, to President Muhammadu Buhari on the passing of his Chief of Staff, late Mallam Abba Kyari.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Emmanuel said the late CoS was a diligent and consummate professional who served the President with a deep sense of loyalty and patriot fervour.
“He understood what loyalty was all about and worked hard to express and helped consolidate the defining layers of the President’s agenda. He will be sadly missed. Our condolences go to his family and the people of Borno State. May his soul rest in peace.”
