For the youth demography in Nigeria and Africa, Ajibola Ademola with the sobriquet ‘Demola Morklue’ is well known, most especially, for his annual ‘Moreklue All Youth Awards’ (MAYA), one of the biggest gatherings that converge youths making their marks from different strata of life under one roof with the aim of rewarding them for excellence.
Apart from his social media engagements online and offline, his Moreklue foundation aimed at sponsoring the education of vulnerable kids and Morklue master class and vocational training aimed at equipping youths to discover their innate potentials, Demola seems to be deviating from the norm lately.
He has been dropping an unclear signal on his social media pages via his engagements and those he hangs out with. He is constantly beginning to be in the faces of people as his lifestyle has changed drastically.
For those who have had close contact with the Oyo state born entrepreneur, they will attest to the fact that he is a social and enterprising chap. His move lately has got several people guessing on his plans for the future. People are of the opinion that he might be seeking an elective position soon.
A source close to the Economics graduate from Osun State University told Society Rendezvous that it seems he is tilting towards aiming for a political appointment or vying for a political post in his Oyo state hometown.
“With his ATA movement, his constant contact with Hon. Shina Peller, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, Kola Kareem, and a host of other seasoned politicians, it seems he is going under tutelage on how to be a politician with a difference.
He has been reading lots of books on governance lately. What has, however, remained a mystery is an office he is seeking election for in Oyo state.
