Kolade Adeyemi, Kano
A renowned Professor of Economics Ibrahim Alkali Ayagi is dead.
A family source close said the economic icon died this afternoon.
Ayagi,who was born in 1940, died after a protracted illness in Kano on Saturday.
Burial arrangement has been fixed by relations shortly after Zuhr prayers in Kano.
