‘Nigeria needs accurate database’

A two-term commissioner in Ogun State, Chief Waliu Olajide Ojuko, has urged the government to establish a working database of its citizens.

He said it will enhance the distribution of stimulus packages to the poor and vulnerable and reduce the difficulties experienced during the lockdown.

Ojuko praised the Federal Government on measures taken to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

He enjoined Nigerians to comply with the government’s directive aimed at preventing the spread of the deadly virus.

Ojuko, addressing reporters in Ota, Ogun State, said President Muhammadu Buhari has shown that he is a good leader.

He said the prompt order of total lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja went a long way in preventing the spread of the virus.

The ex-commissioner said observing all necessary precautions are the best way to win the fight against the virus.
