Niger records three new COVID-19 cases

Niger has recorded three new cases of coronavirus.

Commissioner for Health, Dr. Muhammed Makusidi, confirmed this in a chat with reporters.

He said three new cases comprise of a doctor and two returnees from Kano and Akwa Ibom.

“The new cases include a medical Doctor who returned from Kano and working with FMC Bida, a returnee from Akwa Ibom state who is from Kagara and a female resident of Suleja town who also is a returnee from Kano,” he stressed.

He said they have been moved to isolation centre, adding that the total number of cases in the state stand at seven with one discharged.
