Abia orders closure of motor parks

Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has ordered the immediate closure of intercity motor parks as well as loading bays across the state, starting from Monday, as the state begins relaxation of the lockdown.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka, announced this on Sunday in Umuahia, the state capital.

Ememanka said the decision is meant to check movements from and into the state.
