A MEMBER of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Isa Muhammad Bello, is said to have been placed on isolation for exhibiting symptoms suspected to be those of Coronavirus.
A source said an ambulance was taken to his home in Lafia, the state capital, from where he was conveyed to an Isolation Centre at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital in the town.
Contacted on the development, Health Commissioner Muhammad Ahmad Yahaya said: “Governor Abdullahi Sule will brief the media later.”
It was learnt that the sample tests of 21 out of 23 members returned negative.
A member of the Assembly died recently from Coronavirus.
